This year, just before the school year begins, the company's celebrated the "Knowledge Day" enriched the factory with the 6 new graduates. 

Tradition, which was started in 2007, is continued, by congratulating graduated Achema employees each year. Employees of the urea plant, Metrology division and branch Sistematika were awarded with watches marked with Achema's logo. 

"Development, the desire to continue learning and just keep going is important for everyone" - said the company's CEO Ramunas Miliauskas by congratulating the young graduates of the company. He also invited heads of departments to encourage their employees to pursue both for academic and career heights. 
 
Saulius Austynas, working for 2 years in the Metrology department has completed Control Systems master's degree in KTU this year. Aivaras Gribauskas, Sistematika employee, has graduated Electrical Engineering speciality and obtained bachelor's degree in KTU and was promoted to the Instrumentation and electrical engineer. Remigijus Juzonis, who has obtained bachelor's degree of Ecology from the University of Aleksandras Stulginskis, is working in the urea plant. 

Graduates admitted that to coordinate studies and work for them was not easy. However, all expressed satisfaction with the fact that studying together with their professional activity has helped them to finally decide on the future career and professional choices.

2 Sistematika and 1 urea plant employee were congratulated for completing professional bachelor studies. Arturas Paukste, who already has 8 years of experience in Achema, together with colleague Egidijus Cernukhas, working at least for five years, have graduated from Kaunas Technical College by obtaining Electrical Power speciality. Gerdas Retys this year has acquired the agribusiness technology professional bachelor's degree in Kaunas College. 

Jonas Sabaitis, Director of the branch Sistematika, Vidmantas Grigaliunas, chief of the urea plant Chief Metrologist Jonas Kazlauskas have also congratulated their employees. Highly experienced and learning promoting leaders wished to continue deepen the knowledge from know in practice, in daily work demanding a lot of responsibility. 

At the moment, 37 percent of Achema's employees have completed higher education.
