Gases and gas mixtures are used for metal cutting or welding and other technical purposes.
Liquid nitrogen 2.0 and 4.6 is used as a refrigeration agent. Liquid nitrogen 5.0 can be used in the food industry for the packing and storage of food in accordance with EU Regulation No 231/2012.
Packing: liquid nitrogen is packed in (1 - 10) kg and up to 1000 kg cryogenic vessels, Euro cylinders, poured into Dewar flasks or cryogenic tankers. Pressurized cryogenic vessels used and their filling up must comply with the "Technical Regulation for Transportable Pressure Equipment", the requirements of DT-12-02 “Rules for the use of pressure vessels” and LST EN 1251.
Packing foodstuffs in a gases and gases mixtures atmosphere results in a prolonged shelf-life of the foodstuffs and at the same time in the food quality.
Dry ice is produced from liquid carbon dioxide. Used to preserve low temperature during transporting and realization of refrigerated food (products can't contact with dry ice); for technical purposes. Dry ice temperature is minus 78.5°C. Non-toxic and non-explosive, sublimates converting directly to gaseous carbon dioxide.
Package: 3 mm or 16 mm pellets are packed in clean isothermal containers or other isothermal capacities.
Liquid carbon dioxide is certified by COCA - COLA. It is used in food industry for mineral drink production, cooling and storage of food, fire extinguishing, welding and other purposes.
Packing: liquid carbon dioxide is supplied in cylinders and isothermal storages. Cylinder volume - up to 50 dm3, operating pressure - 200 - 102 kPa (20.0 MPa). Filling factor max 0.72 kg/l. Liquid carbon dioxide is transported in isothermal storages and jacketed cylinders, placed vertically or horizontally with wooden or rope insertions.
Compressed and liquid oxygen are generated by rectification at low temperature from atmospheric air. Compressed oxygen is used for metal cutting or welding and other technical purposes. Oxygen is not toxic, inflammable and non-explosive. Being a strong oxidizer, however, it accelerates the ignition of other substances therefore only safe materials are to be used having a contact with oxygen.
Packing: compressed oxygen stored in steel cylinders up to 50 dm3, operating pressure up to 20.0 MPa, transported in jacketed cylinders. Cylinders must be placed vertically or horizontally with wooden or rope insertions. Liquid oxygen stored in Duar vessels or cryogenic tanks.
Liquefied argon is used as a protective medium for welding, cutting, melting of active and rare metals as well as for their alloys and for metals purification in metallurgy.
Packing: Liquefied argon is packed in vacuum-insulated cryogenic vessels of up to 1000 liters, with a nominal pressure of up to 37 bar or cryogenic tankers. Pressurized cryogenic vessels used and their filling must comply with the "Technical Regulation for Transportable Pressure Equipment" and the requirements of LST EN 1251-1.
